The Friends Neighborhood Guild Collection contains mostly undated and uncaptioned photographs depicting mostly African American children engaged in various organized activities. Other subjects represented include: displaced neighborhood families; senior citizen apartments; the Penn Towne Housing Cooperative Council; play parades held in Philadelphia and Cape May, New Jersey. The collection contains a small file entitled "Tuberculosis" with images of x-rays and men in flop houses on the street. The collection also contains 5 3.5 inch color photographs of the Friends Neighborhood Guild play parade held in Philadelphia in 1960.
